Poker Run for a wounded EOD troop stationed at Hurlburt Field
Saturday NOV 19 2011 Sentinels of Freedom (Hurlburt Field official club) is having a last minute Poker Run for a wounded EOD troop stationed at Hurlburt Field.
HELEN BACK AGAIN IN NAVARRE Registration opens at 0800 First bike out 0900 Last bike in at 1400
50/50 DRAWING GIFT CERTIFICATES AND OTHER PRIZES $10.00 A HAND
All proceeds will be donated to the TSgt Deslauriers family: TSgt Deslauriers is an Air Force Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Technician stationed at Hurlburt Field. While deployed to Afghanistan, he was disarming Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) on 23 Sep 2011 when one detonated. He lost both of his legs and his left arm. His wife Lisa is a teacher at Mary Esther Elementary School and they are expecting their first child in December. Your support for this American hero and his family is appreciated.
