Default Moving to P-cola

Hey guys been stationed here in Va Beach for 17 years and now I am PCS'ing to P-cola for my last 3... What's the riding like down there? Up here is nice unless you go on the interstate (garbage attempts at expansion joints). How's the traffic? Any places I need to put on the must see lists? Anyways, I will be down the there in about 20 days... I am actually pretty excited about moving... minus have to rent my house out up here!

Thanks,
Chris

Im real close to Pcola and go to school there. I love it. Great riding weather, winter wasnt too bad either. Highway 98 goes forever and lots of places to see. I-10 is right around the corner to hit other states etc. Great fishing, awesome weather.

You will enjoy It I believe.

Hit me up when you get into town.

I'm in Niceville, about 50 miles east. Like others said, great place to ride. You will love it.

You either have scenic waterfront rides, or shaded forest rides. Lot of traffic on Bloody 98 both ways, Blackwater River State Forest has some nice roads, as well as some further north in South Alabama. Gulf Islands National Seashore from Navarre Beach to Pensacola Beach gives great views of the gulf and surf, there is a section of GINS just west in Alabama, but not as long, then you hit CondoBama. On further west you can visit For Morgan, then take the ferry over to Dauphin Island.
