Welcome to the world of Home Owners Associations. They can ban whatever vehicles they want (some do not allow Pick UP Trucks).....Barbara used to live in an area that did not allow 'cycles'. It is within their right to ban motorcycles or any other vehicle. So either move, drive an auto....or have your date meet you on the public street. Been there...(well, not THERE, but same thing).
Let me clarify my position... I do not agree with rules that state "motorcycles are not allowed" but this is America and it is private property. If a group of property owners vote that they do not want motorcycles they have that right. If your girlfriend does not like the rule she should either move, get the rule changed, or accept it. If you do not like the rule you should accept the consequences of parking illegally, have her meet you at the gate, pick her up in a car/truck or dump her *** for someone that lives in a community that accepts bikers. Giving some gate attendant a hard time about it serves no purpose. He can not change the rule, nor did he make it. He is just a guy doing his job. The fact that you would threaten him, by holding him personally responsible if your bike gets towed proves what type of person you are. Do you always hold other people responsible for your il-conceived ideas and poorly thought out actions?
Holding someone responsible .... because they are the one that had your vehicle towed when you ask the guy for 5 minutes, is it not giving him a hard time. nowhere and not my original post did I say I gave him a hard time.
but your rediculous posts has morphed into that . so move along I don't even know who the hell you are goodbye, see ya.

Good point Chuck... I liked it better when I was on the board of my previous residence . I helped to shape the rules as I wanted them. I actually pushed for them allowing pickup trucks in that community even though I never owned one.
