Buzz - i'll checkout meetup, i'm sure i'll be asking about different rides in the future. I went to the rally in Starke this past weekend, wasn't to bad,
Oh and - Cecil Fields is kind of closed down...no navy there any more, they're all at NAS, it's right on the river, Cecil Field is 15mins west of that - there is a USCG airstation there now. I live in Orange Park, but stationed at the CG base in Mayport...43miles one way!
Coastie... Why live in OP and drive to Mayport? That's quite a hike.
Had a buddy live down here in Julington Creek stationed on a Navy Frigate out there and he drove every morn. He hated it.
Yea no kidding...especially if I leave work after 440pm...takes almost 90mins. We bought a house when we moved here (about 2 months ago) and looked at houses within 50miles from the base...this house happened to be our favorite. And besides...got my wife to agree that I should get a Harley...better MPG haha

Right in the middle of downtwon Starke now that u mentioned it is an all u can eat place. Not at all expensive and thee is a long food bar wtih a GOOD selection and darn good tasting food for the price.
I can try to get the name of the place if u like but a GOOD bike night place to go to or if u r passing thru.
As u probably know, thee is a place "in this here" forum for Florida yapping.
