Cordele is about half-way up Georgia. Some of the FL Crew have been meeting me there for the last couple of years. It's about 50% of my trip down. Boring interstate run, but it gets the travel done in the least amount of time. I-75, exit 101.
From Cordele, we have about a 4 hour run to the Days Inn in Ocala.
Do you still have the GPS files for the some of the new people? Maybe you can put in a link. Also, if someone knows how to put those files in google maps, some of the people might be able to print the route if they don't have a GPS. Just an idea.

FWIW - When we head north to meet-up with Paul in Cordele the odds are good we will not be doing it on the interstate. Last year we left early and went through McRae, Ga to see the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunately, when we got there it was down for restoration. It is back now, so we may make a run that way again.

We slept as late as we wanted and left at 5:00 am. Didn't even notice whether or not we were even on an Interstate.
If Sefferdog tells you he is going to swing by the Statue of Liberty, he means it.
HDRick and I were a little skeptical about the Statue of Liberty story but there was some evidence it had been there. It is back now I understand.
