Default Ocala BBQ

Trying to move this off the T-shirt Thread. I did send Jay a message on F Book and expect that I will get a response. Fishhead did recommend another guy out of Gainesville. I will try to follow through and lock in a BBQ guy, but due to my present workload, I really don't have the time to track payments and the whole Pay Pal thing. Sure would be nice to have someone in the Crew that has not yet stepped up and offer their assistance to participate. Come on guys some of you just ride in every year, pick up your patches, T-shirts, eat BBQ and enjoy the great accommodations we negotiate. Any help to keep this annual event going would be appreciated by all.

Eddie, you too have stepped up and we all appreciate what you have done. Let's see who will step up and fill the void of the others that have provided their services in the past, just to mention a few, Dave, Murph, Dale, Jim, Chuck, Jay, Sailin Jay, Spunky, Charlie, Fishhead, Paul, and MJ.

Let's see who in the Crew steps up to the task.

Kimbo, PM me the info of the BBQ guy you're working with and I'll follow up and take it over from here.

I'm living in Gainesville so I can scout out local guys and will be happy to manage taking payments, etc.

I'm definitely going this year, but my name isn't on the list since Trish and I are sharing a room. I'm not sure if I'll be riding since my hand is still recovering from last year's accident (due to needing a second surgery). Either way, I'll be there and I plan on bringing some fun activities and delicious goodies with me.

I won't be at the rally this year. Not sure of the 'Dale' that was named....but the Dale that comes to my mind....moved to Arizona awhile ago.
Who is JIM of which you speak?

Chuck

I believe everyone here knows that Dale moved to Arizona. Jim would be Sickpuppy that paid for all of the beer and liquor out of his own pocket for a couple of years in a row. Gonna miss the Florida Crew Water that you usually bring. I was getting a nice collection of unopened bottles going.

Thanks for the nod, there Dave...Yep, Dale is gone about a year now, sick puppy going on two? Eddie...(forever 'Fatboy' to some of us)....He gave from His heart. Me? I did not start this thing. I happened upon it like most of you. I saw "no rules, just ride"....how easy is that?
Anyhow, Barbara is bugging me because she is the 2012 POKER champion...I gave her a map to get to Ocala.
Last year, by the time we got done with breakfast, everyone had left...so we rode on our own. When we got back...well, there was the usual at the party room. But yeh....it was down played. HARD TO TOP THE YEAR WE STUFFED 33 PEOPLE IN THE BATHROOM (could have been 28....but when you are sitting on a toilet with six people on you, it feels like 33)!
Phill-up.....riding his tricycle bike through the cones. I was amazed he made it (alive AND to the RALLY!) I remember riding behind sick puppy (afore mentioned JIM) Phil one year...and on the CB asking Dale 1of2 if he had a bike lift at his house. Phil was riding down towards Miami and had a whining sound in his bike.
I told Dale, let swing by your house and change Phils oil...so at least he is not recerculating old shavings. We did that....took all of two beers (no..TWO beers was not involved).
Wish this years rally a ton of luck. It is what you make of it. Some of you will know what I mean when I say it is 'getting too much like a club.' (you expect things to happen, when they don't... you look at another person and ask why.)

Am I close?

LOL, Remember the guy that filled his bike up with diesel and instead of just draining his tank he paid some guy to drive all the way up from Miami to pick up his bike!!! Phil kept running out of gas because of that Supercharger? Bathroom was fun, I'm right up front in that picture. Good times for sure.
