Default Heading north

Leaving Jax tomorrow morning headed to North Carolina to ride some cold roads.

I know it sounds crazy but heated suits are the way to go.

Not crazy to me! I lived in Franklin for about 14 years and rode most of the winter. Crossed SMNP many times during the winter and never saw another vehicle of any kind from Cherokee to Gatlinburg. Having a place in Dillard you know traffic is never an issue around that area, but in the winter you really have the roads all to yourself! Enjoy!

Gotta agree (crazy that is), heated suit or not! Why don't you go all the way? It was a balmy -5* Fahrenheit in Somerville NJ this morning!

Let us know how that works out for you in that fancy heated gear. It is 15 degrees in Sylva right now with a high of 37 expected for tomorrow with snow.

Deals Gap is closed for another month but you'll be fine.

What could go wrong. Enjoy!

Friday in Jacksonville saw a high of 40 with a windchill of 33.

Not that much difference between here and the mountains, really.

If you gotta ride in the cold, you might as well get twisted!

I was up in SC last weekend and temps were about the same as here in St Augustine. Enjoy the ride.

So much for riding the dragon today...Instead I guess I'll just sit in the hotel and drink more coffee.

Yeah... Sorry your idea didn't work out too well for you.

Our Atlanta office closed at 2:00 today due to the weather.
