Default Quick Electrical Question

Hey guys help me out if you don't mind. I'll keep it short and sweet. I called my self checking all of the connections but I'm gonna check them again. I have AC voltage coming from the stator but no charging at the battery. So is it a pretty good bet that its the volatge regualtor? I hate to spen $250 on a new one if that's not the problem. I've read all the stickies on the electrical forum so please don't send me there. Just looking for some confimation.

Thanks

Sorry Chuck. It's a 2002 Roadking. I guess I was thinking the question was pretty generic but you are certainly right.

If you have power from the stator, but none to the battery, it's the voltage regulator for sure.

Thanks guys. I decided to bite the bullet and have several things done that have been needed for some time. She's in the shop now.
