Can you guys give me an idea where we can pop the tent the next few days? I am going to be around Zephyrhills, maybe Leesburg.... I haven't decided yet, but want to skip around to a few motorcycle memorial day events through the weekend, so I am flexible on location.
Going with the wife, so it has to have a shower, lol......
i have camped out at blue springs state park the last 2 years. less than 30 bucks a night and you have water and power. The shower and bathroom bldgs are cleaner than mine. You can also go swimming in the 72 degree , crystal clear spring. There is a sweet bike/walking trail on the other side of the entrance road with plenty of deer to see. might be a little warm but should cool off after midnight. I dont think it is more than 30 miles or so east and a little south of leesburg. you wont be dissapointed.
or you can go north to ocala forest. juniper springs has a sweet camping area and a spring to swim in. or delancy west is another camping area in the forest.
