Not a problem,. it's a no brainer.
With cruise control on just wave with your right hand.
No cruise? either reach your left hand across your chest about head high and wave or once you're past him raise your left hand above your head and wave.
If you only do the stupid "point at the ground" wave(?) then you're out of luck.

The wave
Sometimes, sitting at a light and a rice bike pulls up, I will say hi and or a head nod. I usually get a possible head nod or a "Who the hell do you think you are?!!"
