Mark, stick with the HD gaskets, they are really good and not expensive. I've messed with other brands and have ended up with leaks.
I'll assume you won't be stopping by the shop today given your troubles, Russ.
Sounds like everybody is getting in the mood to work on their bikes. Glad to know it's not just me! I was talking with my buddy at his shop yesterday about boring out the cylinders and adding some new cams to Ol' Blue.
I haven't noticed any bad rocker noises, but then again like Doc I don't hear so well anymore either!

Yep! Be nice for the bike to have a little more power to pull my big butt around! I'm working with a small budget here so I'll have to do it in stages (Took me over a year to save up enough money for the Baker DD6) I'm still hoping to come up with a couple cylinders I can have bored and ready for a swap out. When I can get all the parts together then I'll go for it!
Looking to find a 3/4 helmet that will fit my big head for cool weather riding..
I wear the same 3/4 helmet 99.9% of the time. With the ear and Weebles problem, have to keep wind and noise out. Not the coolest looking helmet but it w*rks. Got the helmet and my 30 y/o says .." Not something I would wear"...told him " Yeah, but you only ride 1,000 miles a year"
