Did you know you can get a permit to make your liquor legally now? I'm pretty sure Gypsy and a few others on the forum do.
I have thought about getting the set up to make my own, but I really don't do much drinking any more so it would not be worth my while to buy all the stuff I'd need.
Most moonshine is made from corn just like most bourbon. I actually prefer a good rye if I can get it. There was on old fellow up in Jackson county that was an absolute artist when it came to making liquor. One year he made some paw-paw brandy that was just awesome!
