When I listen to "old" country music, I want to kill myself. But newer stuff I don't mind. I agree it's getting popy though.

Bingo ... My music tastes run the gambit ... and I have a great deal of music ( over 6000 yes six thousand CD's ) and well over 100,000 songs. I agree that ( for the most part ) today's country music doesn't hold a candle to the likes of Haggard, Jones, Jennings, Cash, Don Williams and the like.
