Hi, Stan. I made a comment in that thread prior to opening this one. I honestly have always thought the 'Boomer' part of the yell referenced thunderstorms, which Oklahoma is known for. As for the 'Sooner' name, obviously a reference to those who set out prior to the official start of the land run so they could make the first land stakes.

Denver is gonna have to give up a draft pick and Bradford gonna give some $$ back ! Hell he hasn't played long enough or stayed healthy enough to even make any of the 70+ mills he's been paid since being drafted !
