Ahhh..maybe I will stick with the Bates boots. They are lightweight and break in easy. With the lack of walking I do it would take me forever to break them in. It took me 3 months to break in the all leather HD boots I currently have.

Prolly true. Bates are great boots. I'm on my feet most of the time.
Boots, jeans, and a t-shirt are my normal everyday uniform.
Most expensive boots I ever bought are a pair of Boulet bison skin cowboy boots I picked up in Jackson Hole WY. I love 'em and they fit great, but I gotta get some kind of traction sole put on them for riding. Man that leather sole is mighty slick, especially on wet pavement!
I want a pair of cowboy style boots with I have wide feet (big *** bunions) so finding a pair that are wide enough for that part of my foot but not too big everywhere else is near impossible.

I have kind of a weird bone structure in my feet (had to wear corrective shoes for many years as a kid) but it's not too bad now and once I get a pair broken in I'm good to go.
I try to buy good boots that will last. I had been wearing Red Wings for many years but the quality has gone way down hill on them especially since they went to a composite sole on many of their boots. I'm wearing Justins now and so far I'm pretty happy with them.
