I may have mentioned in the past that in the dead of winter,temps in the 20's, the upstairs bedroom windows and door to upper covered porch from the bedroom would be wide open. Made absolutely no sense. I mentioned to my wife that I thought they were too stupid to know how a thermostat works.

I was just in the house( I have the new keys) to close and lock all the windows. The Chief of Police ,who is a friend, accompanied me as a witness so I would not be accused of stealing anything. I checked the thermostat..it was cranked to the max! I was right...too stupid to know how to turn it down.
