Didn't mean to generalize on the parenting thing, there are still some good ones out there. But with the divorce rate being so high and not to mention the whole Baby Daddy thing!

Divorce is way too easy these days and lucrative for the womenz, sorta like Harvey and Irma................blow in and take your house away.

I agree. I also think it is difficult nowadays to talk to someone else's kid with anything but general pleasantries and bland conversation. If you give any sort of advice they'll label you an "ist"...sexist, racist...etc. We grew up in a world where adults didn't whine (as much) and gave advice based on their own experiences in an effort to steer us clear of the pitfalls they fell into.

Ohio is a no fault 50-50 state. No reason for divorce required and the split is even. Just pay a lawyer and it is over. Where does that leave the kids?

My maternal grandfather was one of the greatest guys I ever met WHEN HE WAS SOBER. When not the meanest man you'd ever hope to cross. I remember a great family dinner when I was about 17 and the subject of my older brother's girlfriend came up. Pa Paw made a great statement....Worn out ****** make good wives.
