Yep ... on some models this can be done. Many of the Japanese scooters involve a "set and rotate" the engine
Part of problem was height. Removing the cylinder cover cap will give me almost 3" less. Removing engine side covers will help. I'm going for a high polish on these, so have to remove the stuff anyway. We'll see in Jan or Feb.

Did my Santa Claus gig for the year. Sister in Law had a washer in her garage that we had given her and she never used (Her townhome came with a stackable set already installed) so she gave it to a friend she works with that needed one. Of course, I have the truck and was the labor. But it feels good to help people out.
Not to jump the gun, but the washer thing got me to thinkin....I know, dangerous...but, if you have clean clothes that is more than some others have. Not going political/social or anything....just something to be thankful for a day early!
