All these media shows seem to just hit on a few of the same highlights, lot of that war only remains in the memories of the folks that were there. At least Burns had a fairly good background on how the war started, but he left out the critical fuse for the whole thing - after WWII, the Brits got the job of governing the place (strange, since it was occupied by the American troops that took it back from the Japanese) and establishing a self government for the country. Instead they handed it over to the French, and then... the rest of the story. Bastards all around, no innocents, no integrity in all involved.

Somebody should tell all those multi million dollar primadonnas in both the NFL and the NBA that what they do is entertainment and only a game.....They have absolutely no value in the grand scheme of things.
