I currently have Allstate insurance, but my agent says I can save a lot of money if I switch to Hagerty insurance. I told Stacey about this and she switched to Hagerty and she said that she is saving hundreds of dollars on her Evo Dyna Low Rider.
Hagerty just quoted me $277/year for my 1991 Sportster. $120 higher than what I'm paying now with Drive/Progressive. Has your friend checked Progressive?

American Family, full coverage, $500 deductible
recently went up (after 5 years) $20 year to $240 year
I had a VERY satisfactory experience with a homeowner Ins claim years ago with them that gained my loyalty/trust in them.
So I just never felt the need to shop them to save what would only amount to a few bukz a month at best
Anything but Progressive they are horrible to say the least . I use Farm Bureau now it's cheaper and the deductible is lower . Progressive will low ball the hell out of you if you ever file a claim .
I have used State Farm since I was 16 ... but their rates are ridiculously high the last few years.
A new 2025 Fatboy GrayGhost was purchased in May and SF wanted $2,000 / year !
Drive Insurance (Calif. name for Progressive) sold me 1 year at $624.76. Next year should be $100 less as 1st year has a Broker fee.
