Living in a rural area in the mountains we have no choice but to use XM cuz there's NO signal to speak of especially for AM (I'm a talk radio junkie so AM radio is my fav). I listen to XM alot especially at nite. My truck has it and my bike used to have it.

They really are brutal. Try changing an ESN number with them. They just don't understand, and will eventually get it wrong anyway. I hate having to deal with them, but can't live without the tunes and now that they've merged, there's no alternative. (Not that the alternative was much different)

The reason I quoted both and highlighted, is because I see this as the 'darkside' of unbridled (NOTE THAT WORD) capitalism or greedy capitalism or capitalism without morals. It is what happens when eventually thru 'bigger is better', there is no competition. They do not care if you are happy, pizzed, or satisfied with the flight/radio/service/quality.
And they just 'authorized' the merger of Northwest/Delta. BUT, bigger is better, means we can save the consumer $$, RIGHT. Does EXXON/Mobil give you the 'warm fuzzies' when you hear it? Hmmm?
How 'bout the recent buyouts of the bad banks by the MEGA banks? Well, at least some of the "Indians" are employed.

I have had two radios on Sirius for a couple of years now. I have had to call in only twice, both times I got an American and both times my problem was resolved within minutes. Maybe there was a real reason Sirius was able to buy XM so easily.
