Yeah, it seems like any company that you can't go into a store to talk to someone, the service sucks... Just something about being on a phone that turns a regular person into an *******.

Even in-person visits are more often than not, lousy experiences. Just society's workforce, we need to lift the ban on slapping stupid people!

Living in a rural area in the mountains we have no choice but to use XM cuz there's NO signal to speak of especially for AM (I'm a talk radio junkie so AM radio is my fav). I listen to XM alot especially at nite. My truck has it and my bike used to have it.

I hear all of you. Went thru the same chit 10 yrs ago with Direct TV. We cancelled, and certified a letter to them stating it. Even sent the 'box' back, with a tracking #, and they signed for it. They continued to bill us for 7 mths, then sent it to collections. Didn't get them off my back, til small claims court. Judge reamed their rep a new azzhole. I was the whole time. Jack buttz!!!!! Best part, he gave the guy 30 days to get it off my credit, or, quote, "I'll see you right back here, and please bring a small suitcase."

The reason I quoted both and highlighted, is because I see this as the 'darkside' of unbridled (NOTE THAT WORD) capitalism or greedy capitalism or capitalism without morals. It is what happens when eventually thru 'bigger is better', there is no competition. They do not care if you are happy, pizzed, or satisfied with the flight/radio/service/quality.
And they just 'authorized' the merger of Northwest/Delta. BUT, bigger is better, means we can save the consumer $$, RIGHT. Does EXXON/Mobil give you the 'warm fuzzies' when you hear it? Hmmm? How 'bout the recent buyouts of the bad banks by the MEGA banks?
Well, at least some of the "Indians" are employed.

PS, I don't subscribe to ANY of those hightech services. So this post is being brought to you by Manny, and his burro.

I have had two radios on Sirius for a couple of years now. I have had to call in only twice, both times I got an American and both times my problem was resolved within minutes. Maybe there was a real reason Sirius was able to buy XM so easily.

i have sirius and have never had to deal with their customer service. I love my radio and definitely think it's worth the $13 a month to get commercial free radio....
