Don’t know about others here but I’m not an outlaw biker. I’d like to think that the person who turns this on, with no knowledge of “our” self professed biker type lifestyle, at least has heard enough mainstream info about outlaw mc’s (Who hasn’t heard of the Hell’s Angels?) that they aren’t too surprised by the characters’ criminal activities. I’ll agree with stereo typing problems arising but only from the mindless idiots who couldn’t make a distinction between a recreational rider and outlaw biker anyway and who probably think all those people on Survivor are really alone. If anything, SOA sheds a light on these people as being real….family problems, etc. Much the way the Sopranos did. Who didn’t love those ruthless killing gangsters? The hunter analogy? Don’t think it applies well here. Most people have strong opinions about killing animals one way or another. It’s a hot button issue. Never really watched a hunting show from start to finish. What is the difference between them and hunters not on the show? I assume they are real hunters, really hunting and not actors playing hunters and pretending to hunt. I may be wrong.

I guess that's why our TV's have so many channels, if you don't like a show turn it somehwere else. The Andy Griffith show doesn't accurately reflect life in North Carolina but people have been watching it a long time now. Its all there for entertainment. I'm just glad we still have the opportunity to choose, it probably won't be long til it gets censored for being racist or to violent....
