Hey hows this, to all Welcome from Idaho and enjoy the ride.
Hey IdaSpud,
I have two brothers up your way, one lives in Boise and the other lives in a new subdivision I think in Meridian ? or somewhere close.
I bought my SG from High Desert in '07, we had just finished a 1400 mile ride through Wyoming and Montana and when I was returning the softail I rented I saw this bike there on consignment, had to bring it home with me, so I got to ride another 600 miles on a SG...smiling the whole way....

Just wondering, I worked for High Desert in the summers of 07 and 08 in the service dept. We might have met back then. My son is now a master tech for High Desert. We live in Meridian right between Boise and Kuna, small world isn't it. Where in Calif do you live with your statement that you rode another 600 miles at my estimate put you somewhere in the Bay Area.

You would probably remember my bike, the original owner was a dentist..I think in Meridian, he had done way too many upgrades and then decided to sell it and get a different bike. The story I heard was that his wife wasn't into the touring like he thought she would be.
They told me that the bike won the Boise chrome-over award in '06, I can't remember the salesman's name, I think I have his card at home. I finally got the service dept. to send me the service records on the bike, but I never did get the dyno info.
I am about two hours north of the bay area, in Chico
