As long as you got 3K-5K to go through the DWI-OUI you can get for being a .08 0r even less if the cop thinks you are impaired. Don't take much to be busted these days! Not worth the risk for me. If I've had more than one in the previous hour I don't do it ... had a DUI about 20 yrs ago ... don't intend to get another (the laws have gotten considerably more draconian in the interim).

Was at a 'hail and farewell' the other day ... had two beers in about 2-1/2 hrs. It was 'homebrew' so think it may have been a little higher alc content ... I might have been borderline the first 10 or 20 minutes after I got on my bike ... had an hour-and-a-half ride in front of me, though, so an uneventful ride home.

Ride safe ... if you have more than one, give yourself time for it to wear off ... better to have to come back for your bike than risk getting your *** in a sling. A DUI is not the worst thing that could happen ... you could end up in a morgue ...

[Once I've gotten to my destination, I'm rather partial to beer, Scotch whisky (neat), bourbon or vodka ... ]
