Default Straight piped Snapper

I have been listening to different exhausts trying to decide which I want to swap out my stock exhaust for. All these different sounds brought back a cool memory from when I was a kid.

My grandmother had an old Snapper riding mower she had bought back in the late 60's. By the late 70's the muffler and exhaust pipe had rusted through. She took it to her nephew who was a mechanic and welder. Instead of going to the expense of ordering a replacement part, he went out to the scrap pile found a two foot piece of 1 inch steel pipe and welded it on.

I guarantee you that this was the absolute coolest sounding lawn mower ever. I was about 8 years old and my grandmother would let me mow all the flat sections of yard. By this time I had already been biten by the motorcycle bug. All of my older cousins already had bikes, and I couldn't wait until my parents would let me have one. But, on this old Snapper mower I could cruise around the yard and easily imagine myself on my own super cool bike.
