Why would I spend all that money to make my bike sound the way it does only to keep it wrapped up.
I wonder more about those that don't burp it every now and then. It's a Harley, it's supposed to be fun, live a little.

Back in the old days, blipping the throttle when downshifting helped them shift a little easier.
Kind of like driving a 18 wheeler. You have to be in the right RPM range to slip into gear. Of course, you don't use a clutch in an 18 wheeler, but it still helped with the wide ratio gear boxes of old.

I don't with my 07 Ultra , but with my shovels .... especially with the wide glide ,93 stroker ....kick only , YES if you have a slight idea it may stall , you WILL tend to blip to prevent doing 50 kicks on an hot shovel to restart.
