Depending on which State or City that you are in, you can be pulled over and ticketed if you have the decorative lights on while traveling. Here displaying blue lights while underway will get you a ticket real quick.

I like my teal neons! Teal is not a common color, so I can easily locate my ride in the parking lot after dark. Some of my riding buds aren't keen on them, but to each his own.

Depends on your state laws, and what color you out on the bike. Mine are amber. Legal here

I was just at the GA HOG Rally last weekend and I counted not less then 4 vendors there selling and installing LED lighting on bikes...and for mafia-prime-plus prices. Yeah it is eye-catching...but not enough to make me want to pull out my wallet and buy the things and put them on my bike.

Thanks....but no thanks.

Some bikes are lit up like a 2 wheeled x-mas tree. A little to "over the top" for me.
Everyone I know calls them "Gay lights". I didn't understand what "Gay Lights" were for a while, until someone pulled up on a bike and flipped them on, and someone standing near me yelled "Hey, nice Gay Lights dude!"

Doesn't really work for that in Illinois - from what I understand, cops might bust you for riding with them on. I suppose it depends on the color.

Come on guys! They're only "Gay" to those who can't afford them, who aren't comfortable with their manhood or secretly hope to increase their chances for a date on Saturday night...
