I just open up the saddlebags and drive right in and throw whatever I want in the bags.

Watch out for that spill in Aisle 3! It sucks dumping a bike in a grocery store.

In all my years of riding the one thing I have learned, the public is very tolerant of motorcycles doing things out of the norm if you do it with class. Block the walk, scare pedestrains while you're parking are good examples of bad exposure, just like the guy at 2AM in the residential neighborhood that for some reason needs to redline his bike a few times with drag pipes on it. Engage your brain before you engage the clutch!

Back in the '70s my buddie Big Bob,6'6", and I would park up on the walk at the Hilton in Victorville to go to the Bar there. We didn't block anything, anyway after doing that for a couple years they got a door man.One night we did our usual park and the door guy comes out and says "hey you can't park there" Bob walked up to him and said"not only are we goina park there but your goina watch our bikes" and we walked in.The guy did watch our bikes and we became good friends with him after that and continued to park there.

99% of the time I find a parking spot. But I have been known to park on the sidewalk, in the hotel room, at the front door, and once completely through a bar!! That was then. I've matured into just riding on the sidewalk and scaring the crap out of pedestrians now!
