That's because either we both are in a club or hang around a club, so we fully understand how things work.

I'm finding myself agreement with you as well on pretty much any club or 1% thread on this forum.

Most will never get it...

The words "Hells Angels," and the Deathhead symbol are copyrighted materials, and are the intellectual property of the HAMC. You can't use either without the permission of the Angels.

And yes...you are correct. The only people allowed to wear anything with the HA wording or the Deathhead are HAMC members. They're the only ones that have earned it. That's why all the support gear uses terminology like: "Support your local 81" or "Support your local Red and White." You won't find any support gear with the Deathhead or the HA wording printed on it.

Since this has been beaten to death, I guess I won't have to go into detail what would happen to some citizen caught wearing anything resembling either of these two copyrighted materials by a HAMC member. I may be going out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be a friendly encounter.

Here's another link to a story on what happened and who was involved.

Short and simple
Wear it in the wrong area, be prepared to be asked to remove it, this happens frequently in Texas.
Asked can be in varing degress by the way

I was working a booth down at the waterfront last summer (bike meet and show), went to get some grub and saw this guy wearing the shirt, cut up jeans and the 3 peice cut. Literally looked like on of the characters and posing like crazy. Arms crossed looking all bad with his shades. Oh man oh man oh man. Folks were jeering him and laughing out loud. I'm the type to mind my own business so I don't know what happened or where he ended up. We were really busy that day and from his body language if I'd have gone over and said something he might have taken a swipe at me. What I DO know is that not long after, the real deal showed up and he disappeared.

Ignorance can be fixed, stupidity can't.

Question: Why would a 1% MC want to sell their support shirts at an H-D dealer event and why would the dealership accept their request for a booth? Dealerships are about promoting their HOG chapter, not helping 1%ers raise funds. That is part of my original post that has not been answered.
