I've never warn the support clothes, but got a support sticker for the nomads on my oil tank! Serves two purposes, 1) MC's take a lot of **** just for wearing the patch and I would assume that they spend a lot on legal defense for bullshit charges! Charges that regular non-members get away with every day like I do! 2) keeps the looky lues from touching my bike. It always makes me grin a little when I see someone looking at my bike and I think I just know they're gonna touch it. Then see them notice the sticker and walk away!
But reality is if you buy supporter wear you buy it because , you have friends that ride with a Club to support them because they support you .
If you truly support your friends it does not matter what or where with or without a t-shirt a club your little sister friends or your family country or rights you support them no matter what . So if you deny them in bad situations you are lying to yourself or am i wrong .
very well said i would say. and to the point if you don't support them or what ever shirt you buy whether its harley or hd forums etc then why did you buy it?

odds are the "looky loos" have no idea what a "support your local outlaws" sticker means... i had no idea what it meant at all until i joined this forum. i rode sport bikes before my HD and never heard of "support gear".
i don't get the support gear, makes people look no better than a 12 year old girl at a myley cyrus concert.
i have to imagine that anytime the hells angels sell a support shirt to some middle aged dufus they laugh about it...

Exactly!! most people don't know what it means. Arround here the LEO's know what it means which suprised me!

I support the 'Full Throttle Saloon" and wear their colors a lot when I ride. Top and bottom rockers and a sweet skull in the middle. Looks more like BLS gear, but I like it. Oh, and it's black and white.
Haven't been "asked" about it yet. Will keep you updated as events progress.
for those worried about being associated with or supporting MC's, I will be coming out with a line of 'Support HarleyRanger' gear that should be ready in a few weeks. I am not associated with any MC. Please PM me for details. I accept certified checks, cash & money orders. Thanks in advance for your support
This past year in Daytona for Bike Week I had a Broken Spoke Beannie Hat on...as you know if you were down there it was pretty cold this year. Colors are Red and White.
Stopped at a light, a Patched Outlaw walked over to my bike and looked at my cap, then walked away.
He was making sure it wasn't a Support 81 Hat. If it was, I would have had to remove it, or been knocked off the Bike.
Moral of the story as stated many times in this post....know where you are at as it is taken very seriously by the clubs, members, prospects, and associates.
This weekend at the Oyster Run in Anacortes, Wa. I bought my girlfriend a pair of hot little black panties that say S Y L B (eg. Support Your Local Banditos) on the back. Will she get in trouble if she wears them?
