Chaps work and they work well...If your a dude...chaps are only gay if you dont wear jeans or pants underneath them..Ive seen some big bad moe foes wearing chaps that I know I wouldnt say **** to about them lookn gay...as far as waving...depends on my mood.
Yep........and I wave at everyone on 2 wheels......usually because I am just happy to be out riding and glad they can share in the experience too.
I've read so many times that "assless" chaps are gay./quote]
Aren't all chaps by definition "assless"? If they had an "***" wouldn't they be pants?
Seems to me that anyone who refers to chaps as "assless" has no clue what they are talking about.
I just sayin...
Correct......and a vest is a sleeveless jacket and of course a jacket is a sleeved vest.
Outside of the self absorbed, self important yuppie type people, folks in Texas wave at each other. Be it in cars, bike, walking, jogging, working in the yard,etc..
Long before the Biker/Harley wave started.
Get outside of the major cities,if you pay attention, you'll see people in cars waving to each other, and to us on scoots.
The wave employed by drivers usually consists of nothing more than quickly raising and lowering the index finger of the hand on top of the steering wheel. On a bike to a car, it is simply doing the same with your left hand on the grip.
What a dumb *** thread.
Get over it.
It's called being friendly.

Grow up in the country or get out and ride the backroads and rural routes and waving to farmers & locals is pretty much required...However like BigAlsRK said..when I'm on the bike 9 times out of 10 I'm in a good mood so i'll wave at almost anyone on a bike...I'm also on the metric side of the fence so I know what its like to get the Harley snub...but every once in a while I'll get waved to from a HD rider and think "well that was nice of them".......Ducatis seem to be a more acceptable bike than jappers...prob bc its a loud rumbly twin too that even they can appreciate..

Well, guess what...
Here comes the newest form of gay...
I've seen on several occasions, people who wave at everyone. Including the other side of the interstate. These people spent more time with thier hand waving than they did touching the grip!
They looked like they were *ahem* gay and walking thru one of "their" bars waving and saying "hey!" to everyone.
So, I said it first.
Waving is gay....
Start the flames, I can take it...
Somebody forgot to tell the old cowboys they looked gay.

Or......................chaps are "assless" only when no one is wearing them. Unless, of course, the said individual has no ***. Then they would be "assless". (Or without ***, however one decides to look at it)
