What is with you guys and threads about the Red & White ? It's gotta be some kind of deep seated ***** envy thing or something . I seriously doubt anybody in here really knows any of the original members or dick about them aside from books , movies , wishful thinking . I'm going to suggest sticking to HOG groups and the Sunday riders you at least some facts to talk about .

Before the you yubbers get your knickers all twisted up I do know some of charter member's or did when they still alive , I miss Deacon he was good people as long you weren't a dipstick and I watched him slap a few of those wearing all new dealer HD clothes on a spanking new bike thinking they part of the scene now . By the way the mans name is Ralph , Sonny is for the public .

As for riding Harley,s that's just what a Man rode when this all got started only jap bikes around were 2 stroke stinkwheels . Those guy's could give a f*ck about the factory and more than few do ride BMW's & crotch rockets , are you going to say anything to one who is ? Doubt it ..

Being brutally honest here all the strife over brand names come along with the emasculated yuppie crowd and their ego problems , the wanna be closet badboys or posers I think is the term capping other riders bikes that,s nothing but some pud playing " Dig Me " for the crowd . You will never hear a member say anything bad about another mans bike they don't need the ego boost they know what size their dick is

The 'By-Laws' of most Traditional MC's state that each member must own at least 1 Harley, but you can also own (and ride) any other type of bike as well.

From the By-Laws of a well known Traditional MC;

"Each member will OWN at least one (1) Harley Davidson or facsimile of at least 750cc"..

And for those making fun of the Honda 90's all I can say is 'bah humbug'....

I use to own one and it was a great little bike, and a lot of fun as well. Here is one all decked out and ready for a cross country run.

OFG- Excellent pic! I had one of those along with pretty much anyone who grew up riding in the mid-to-late 60's. Dropped it of a rocky hill, put a hole in the case, patched it with JB Weld, good to go. Everybody's favorite beater bike.

Like everybody else in the world most had two faces the pubic one and the real one .And your right Sonny was abrasive to say the least never put my back to him , stopped dealing with them years ago . Some of the guys were ok the rest well you know . Got permission to mud check a prospect that was f*cking with me as long as it wasn't public , they were stand people if you did things right . I miss those days .

interesting that they use cc's instead of ci's to define the size of the motors. I thought Harleys were American bikes, and used ci's.

Back-in-the-day (1970's) bikes were described in cc and almost never in ci, although I don't know why.
