T-Dubs Request for Club info and stuff
I had a Friend of mine I grew up with (Sunday school, jr high ,high school) and we were inseparable at the time. We had long hair black leather jackets and would get stopped and searched just because of how we looked. After high school he went in the Army and I went trucking, we stayed in touch and saw each other when we could. Then He calls me one day and say's " I got an offer to be a cop, can we still be Friend's if I take it?". I told him "I don't give a F what you do for a living and why do you think I give a rat's *** if your a cop?". Life went on and me and the Ol'Lady moved out of state. Then a few years later I heard he got shot, first shot through the arm an second shot through the mouth at point blank range with a 45. Knocked out his front teeth and grazed his spine. I rode up to see him and didn't tell him I was coming, he was having good and bad day's at the hospital and would not have visitors on some days. He saw me and we had as good of time as we could have in a hospital. He had a Sportster and was talking about new paint jobs for it. He also said that he was up for the chief's job before the shooting but because he was friends with guy's in a MC club he didn't get it. He is retired now and can walk with a walker. I haven't seen him for some time but for some reason your post reminded me of him ( tats and bikers maybe). I know this is way off the thread, but I'm glad you are standing up for yourself.
You might not get the Chief's job, but I'll buy you a beer if you come by this way.
The friggin scumbag that shot him died at the site.

AS time went on, I ended up joining the Marines and when I was discharged and went to my hometown, I found out he had been murdered with no leads to what happened.
Make a long story short, I turned out becoming a cop and like T-DUB, I seem to always sticking up for bikers. Especially MC members. I have never had a problem with them but have always showed respect to them if I go on a call or or see them when I'm on duty. I don't believe in pulling em over just to jack them up or try get intel from them. I'll galdly buy any of them a beer when I see em at the bar and do not pry into their business.
I give props to my parents who taught me to respect all people and RIP Danny the biker who let me shoot the **** with him as a kid.
I had a guy ask me, "why do you wave at the cops?"and I answered,"cause they always wave back".
