You would recognize the club name instantly and the correct terminology would be 1%er. We don't refer to ourselves as "patch holders". I hold my tongue for the most part reading some of the stupidity that's posted here and i don't identify who i am, but i just had to comment on those patches and the color.
I don't blame you. The level of "expertise" about these things on here, is quite astounding. I suppose you read a couple of books, watch a little History Channel, that must make you an expert I guess (not directing that at you, just in general).

Granted, it would be impossible to know, but considering the overwhelming amount of concern about it, it would be interesting to know how many people have EVER been harassed about a back patch that wasn't associated with a 1% MC. I'm guessing a fairly small number, and more than likely, it wasn't really the patch that caused the problem.

if you want to meet some people who may have a need for their souls to be saved, wear the three piece w an MC patch and you will meet some of these people in person quickly. they will tell you exactly what they want from you. I advise you to take their opinions very seriously. stick with the one piece to stay peaceful. Please don't try to save me I would be miserable in heaven for eternity stuck with christians

No judgements here, just asking.

How does one even find out who is the dominant MC in their area?

I can't ever see myself joining a club, I'm a lone wolf, but I'm just curious how one would even do that?

Anyone wishing to start a new club can typically go to the next COC meeting and present themselves and their proposed patches for review by the existing COC(Confederation of Clubs) member clubs, which depending on the state can be 1%er clubs, military clubs, riding clubs, sportbike clubs christian clubs and even cop clubs. In my state any club is free to petition for membership in the COC. Anything you want to know can be found out there.

[QUOTE=Blue SOG;8051561]1 piece patch and no one gives you a 2nd look. 2 piece patch whether or not it has MC will get you a 2nd look. 3 piece patch enters you into another world.

True for the most part. There are one piece patches like Sons of Silence, Galloping Goose, etc... That are serious 1% clubs.

Despite the fact that this is the "B/S" forum, I'm looking for serious suggestions please... I will be taking your thoughts back to the group.

No, keep it the way it is just make it part of the same patch. It will be less expensive to make and the MC 1%'er won't hassle you over it. Besides, it would look better as part of the same patch.

Could someone help Dil and myself out here?

Why does a 3 part patch mean something different then one thats all together and says the same thing? Once the three pieces are on does it not become the later one piece unit?

However I do think the outer ovals that surround the text should come a full oval and then the patch would be one unit and more manageable to sew on. Just my opinion
