Looks like Willem Dafoe plays the same character he played in Streets of Fire. Great movie, corny as hell but entertaining. A young Diane Lane (wow)

those are a few i can think up (with a little help from the internt)
I've seen a few of those. I have a DVD box set of all the Billy Jack movies, including Born Losers. If you like thsoe, check out The Hard Ride. You can watch it online at Netflix.

My list:

Best biker movie ever made: Hell Ride (especially if you get it - if you watch a Rob Zombie movie and say "that looks like some old 70's piece of crap" you might not get it - looking back at some of the comments: THIS MEANS YOU). The star, Larry Bishop, was also in a few of those 60's biker movies, like Angel Unchained.

Second Favorite: Beyond the Law with Charlie Sheen.

Great movie you're never heard of: Roadside Prophets - starts John Doe (from X) as a biker on a road trip to take the ashes of another biker he ahd just met, to be scattered in a city that may not exist. Has Adam Horowitz (Beastie Boys), Timothy Leary, Arlo Guthrie, Don Cheadle, John Cusack, David Carradine, Flea.

Best comedy: Wild Hogs (probably my third favorite biker movie).

I'll also throw a +1 for Long Way 'Round and Long Way Down if you have plenty of time to kill.

Other good ones:

The Wild One - probably the first one.
Poker Run
Stone Cold
Mad Max

Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man is good for about the first 5 minutes. As soon as the talking starts, it goes the crap, then Don Johnson shows up and it's done.

oh, forgot to mention; saw this on Netflix streaming:

Cycles South

It's basically a fake documentary about 3 buddies riding to Mexico and all the hijinks they get into....think a really mild version of Jackass set in 1971.

Some people find it boring or cheesy, but I was cracking up throughout the entire thing.

"Girl on a Motorcycle" has a young Marianne Faithful in it.

There was one on cable a few years ago about two good looking girls on Harley's that leave rehab and take off on a long ride. It was good but can't remember the name. The chicks were pretty hot.

Another decent one I saw a few years back on cable was about a guy on a Harley taking off cross-country and kinda gets followed by a young wierd kid on a beat up old Triumph Bonneville.

The one about Che Guavera (pre-revolutionary)taking a long trip with his friend on a bike
was pretty good too. That's a fairly new movie.

Then again, there was the entire run of "Then Came Bronson", which aired on TV in '68/'69. It's been available on DVD in the past. It may be hard to find, but it's well worth the effort.

The aussie cult bikie film STONE is worth a look. It was made in the seventies and captures how they lived.

Great thread and many thanks to all who listed the movies. Some I have seen, some I haven't.

I really liked MASK when I first saw it. Course, Sam Elliot kicks ***, so that always helps.

Beyond the Law was great, just watched that again recently.

The Hard Ride has one of the best lines that I've ever heard in a movie...

after a Marine kicks the asses of a biker gang that's trying to gank his bike, one of them remarks to another....
"You see those campaign ribbons, you don’t get those being a *** "!! (rhymes with hag)
