Default Motorcycle Secret

My wife and i have our own motorcycles. I have been riding for 3 years and my wife 1. We are both in our early 30's and my parents have no idea we have/ride motorcycles. I've never told them, particularly my mother because I honestly feel it would cause health issues (stress, blood pressure, etc) but she would go crazy if she found out.

I'm in the process of buying a home, so they will be parked in the garage, so they will be in plain sight. Up until now I've lived in apartments with detached garages so it was easy to hide for the simple reason they have no idea i have a garage.

My parents don't visit often, i usually visit them. What would you do if you were in my shoes? Or as a parent that gets stressed easy and watches to much news would you rather be kept in the dark? (what you don't know won't hurt you)

Lighten up Francis. He's concerned about his mothers health.

OP, if you have no friends local where you could store the bikes for when you get a visit have you considered a storage unit?

I had the same problem when I was 16 and lived at home.. I parked my first bike in the garage and I had to cover it with a blanky all the time so Mom wouldn't know I bought one....~~~~~ lol..

OK, really my Mother worried about me buying/riding my first bike back in 65, when I was 16, took her about a yr to quit thinking about it..

Thinking/Worrying,,,, its what Mothers do..

Finally she learned if its not your time, Its not your time.... If it is ..Well you know..!!!

Parents worry, it is what you do. Show them the bikes. They probably already know anyway.

Yes show them the bikes....ride to Thanksgiving dinner as a surprise.
Wear leather.

But...if you are set in your ways what about those tent like motorcycle covers. In the corner of your new garage with debris around it to as camouflage.

I do not agree... I do not see "the grown *** man thing". I may need glasses.
