Maybe I misunderstand the tone or context of your posts but it seems you are very focused on a group of people that you don't like so why spend any time on it? More importantly, why assume that every "RUB" is a certain type of person?
yet, you felt the need to comment about me.
people I respect tend to be sure BEFORE they comment.

I spoke to what you posted. We are going full circle here. It's clear what you feel and probably more clear why you "respect" so few. Have a good night.
I was there. I was at the local dealer, fall of 93, looking at an FXR. The FXR and the something else were the only two bikes left on the floor. In walks a local extremely well to do professional with his wife. His wife asks, "is this all you got left for bikes?". "Yes says the lady salesperson, the fxr is a good bike". "I'll TAKE it!" says rich wife. The husband looks at her like, "what?" The next words out of rich wife's mouth were, " do you have any leather halter tops?". I almost fell over, laughing and pissed that the FXR was gone. The sales lady says "yes we have halters, but they aren't comfortable riding, look at a jacket". I still see the guy around, he's still is riding. He has done a lot for the community and for others. His ex, she's off to who knows where.
Everyone here could be considered a rub, compared to some peasant in north Korea I suppose.

Unless they live out in the "country" that is........
Alk is a great Dude. Type of Dude that'll lend you some of his vast scooter tramp knowledge, and get your bike up and runnin'.
I know where he is coming from although I am a little younger...
Yuppies for lack of a better word and "others" snub their noses at bikers, and yet, they decide to portray us... And, demand respect and inclusion into a world where we've paid dues... whatever individualistic dues those may be.
He did mention that until they cut their teeth, it is what it is...
That is what it is all about. Clear as mud, huh?
for the rubs...think of it like some dude that just got hired, get's an office with a view and a private bathroom that you have been waiting to get for 10 years.
