good to hear.
my family in Brooklyn ok, but one cuz in Staten Island lost his work van and serious damage to the house ... got family in Leonia, just over GW, but they're in Europe right now. probably freaking out not able to get back.
Staten island got hit hard, I hope he gets back on his feet.
Im just sitting here wondering about the differances between a person who owns and rides a harley and someone who rides a japanese crotch rocket...from my viewing the sportbikers are a little more polished and sanitized than a harley rider and a little more clean cut...at least in most casesfor some reason i dont relate too well with the sport bike crowd
I'm really tired of this question or topic. A rider is a rider... Period! People are so damn caught up in labeling others. The bikes are used for different purposes and depending on what you want YOUR bike to do is how you decide on rather to ride a HD or Metric sport bike. Enough said damnit!
The kids on metrics aren't "more polished and sanitized" than us Harley riders. What they are is on the prowl for some trim so they be dolling themselves up to chase the young skirts. Us Harley riders got ours waiting at home or on the back so we don't have to clean up to get some. Momma loves us just the way we are.
I took a MSF Advanced Sport Bike course on a Dyna 2 years ago and rode circles around most of the sport bike riders. The comment about them taking education more serious is crap. Most of the riders were afraid to push any of the bike's limits other than the throttle. They didn't push lean angle or brakes.
