Apparently this has become part of the cost of citizenship now. You still have choices. Pay, don't pay, protest, change the requirement or denounce citizenship------those are your choices as I see it now. You can still try to choose to keep that money in your pocket. I don't think that will work out, but go for it. You show them. I am cheering for you.

The healthcare thing is truly unfortunate. Like many things in this country people heard free or low cost and didn't question it.

I think at some point it will go down as the biggest scam ever foisted on the American people.

Without getting political when they first started talking about it my immediate thoughts were:

1. Who in their right mind looks at our gov't and their inability to do even simple tasks properly and says yep, THAT is who I want in charge of my health.

2. Giving the gov't full access to my health records sounds like a GREAT idea.

3. Why yes, I do believe that a gov't that can't stop wasting money and screwing things up fiscally is exactly who needs to control the purse strings.

4. When I am sick or injured or maybe even dying, I look forward to dealing with the same type of people that work at the DMV.
