My new (to me) motorcycle - and my old (to most people) motorcycle:
2008 Electra Glide Ultra Classic, FLHTCU, stage 1 (Rinehart true duals), power commander, hypercharger, custom seat with gel packs and drivers backrest, lower windshield, highway pegs, arlen ness grips.
There is a lot to lot to learn and adapt to here coming from 50 years of Hondas.
Had it a week so far and I'm already in love

Thats a good looking Harley. The guys on the V4MB forum like to give me a hard time and talk smack about HDs, but I have a feeling its just because theyve never owned or ridden one.. Seems like they just like parroting what theyve heard about some of the issues with the old AMF HDs, which were fixed long ago. They really are great bikes. Super comfortable, well built, and no chrome plated plastic anywhere.

Congrats on the new-to-you bike.
Thank you.
Yep the old "at least I don't have oil puddles in my garage" or " you can always find your way home because of the oil trail" are pretty tired.
But I will still give the wave to my old Japanese squib friends.
2016 Ultra post De-tour Its been fun having the trunk off. I was just curious how it would feel, if I would notice that much of a difference. I think a solo saddle over the winter will be the last change (I swear).
I have a 2017 that I de-toured. Kept the couch for wife with tourpak. I've even added stretch bags and front fender from 2022 SGS, change to a 19" mag wheel, and even have a SGS slim seat for just me. Looks like a SGS except better. I really like the rear light inserts that a SGS doesn't have.
