ECM tray
Anyone remove the plastic catch from the tray that sits on the battery and holds the ECM from where the metal arm from the battery tray comes through? I have had it off several times and its almost always a pain coming off and going on. Maybe I just don't know the trick but I can see any reason to just get rid of the plastic part. Had a pic on my phone but can't find a cord to to transfer to the PC with....&$(* kids

it clips on top of the battery also, Where is it going to go? Make sure the wires are secure and let it go

I had to go help a friend take the battery out of his '10 Ultra Classic.
When we identified the "problem" with that little POS tray, a pair of metal snips were used to rectify that design flaw!
The following day while doing some work on my '13 CVO Ultra, I performed the same surgery on my bike....problem solved!

The first time I tried to remove the tray I had the same problem. It seemed impossible to do.
The next time I clipped the tie wraps holding the wiring harnesses to the frame rails and everything came out easily. It looks like you should not have to do this but once the cables are moved a bit everything pops out easily.
