I'm partial to 2-1 pipes as you gain more torque in the bottom end. I looked at every 2-1 out there and settled on the Drago's Dragula. Great performance from this pipe, low meaty rumble, real easy on the ears at highway speeds, flawless workmanship and great chrome that won't pit or flake off. Plus Frank Drago is a great guy to work with, a real wealth of knowledge.
Ditto, Its hard to beat the simplistic beauty and performance of Drago's Dragula 2into1 system. Love mine, they still look brand new after 2years and sound/perform just awesome. The price is very reasonable as well.
I messed up right away. I bought Vance and Hines true duals with the fuel pak tuner. I lost power. I talked to a reputable tuner for advice. He said they got some of their worst numbers with V&H pipes.he said he gets the best numbers with D&D 2 into 1 and Rinehart Extreme true duals. The Extreme head pipes increase in size 3 times before they get to the mufflers. I don't care for 2 into 1's on a bragger so I went with the Rineharts, a set of .555 cams, Screaming Eagle stage one breather, TTS tuner. My 96" 2010 Road King made 95 HP and 103 lbs torque.
I went with the Bassani down under duels and slip ons, PC V and stage one air. Couldnt be happier with the sound and performance. this was my second set up, just wasnt happy with the sound of my first and was very grateful the outfit took them back after only 100 or so miles.

I prefer the sound of true duals instead of 2 into 1s. Even if the dyno #s aren't as good. I decided on the Klokwerks 4" rolled edge reverse slash mufflers and true dual headpipes. Mine are Vance and Hines, but I'll never again purchase a V&H product. Problems with thier welding and they don't want to stand behind thier product. Plenty of other dual headpipe sets out there.
Nice deep throaty sound while not as loud as drag pipes or a Thunder header.
Note that Reinhart has several true dual setups, watch out you don't get the set that blocks the oil dipstick.
Bike nights are a good place to look and hear many different setups. Took me a couple of years to decide what I wanted. Good luck!
I have tried Supertrapp Fatshots, Rinehart, Jackpots and with my S&S Power Tune duals and new Cams the Rush Big Louie's have the best sound and performance.
