I have to tell you, if you want insane loud, go with the Samson Silver Bullet 30" Drag tips. I have them on my custom and they sound like drag pipes on a softail! Be prepared though, they are that loud!
there are numerous posts about exhaust in these forums....i personally like loud pipes...i recently had my baffles out of my SEII slip ons....that was f'n loud....but i did loose some low end performance....i cut down my baffles so now i have the loudness and the back pressure.
i had an 03 RK which i put the thunderheader slip-ons and they sounded great.
For what is worth, I have the Stage One upgrade with the Vance & Hines exhaust and I think it sounds great. More of the throatier sound without being too obnoxious (if there is such a thing!).
