I currently have the HD 10" shield on my '11 Ultra. Thinking of switching to a 7" Windvest or LRS. These products look about the same to me. Can anyone offer advice on these 2 choices?
I really liked the LRS I had on my SG. I won't fit my new bike but I sold it and will be getting another LRS. I had a 9 inch and it was just right for me.
My 8" LRS Ultra works very well for me. Feels the same as the stock 10" plus my girlfriend says she gets less wind blast on the back with it. Highly recommended!

Thanks highwayman. My wife complained when I went from the 12" to the 10". If the LRS give better protection for her than the HD 10" that would be great.
I have 2 LRS and they work perfectly. Even at 90MPH, you won't feel the wind in your face. Yesterday, I was caught in a heavy down pour of rain. With the shield, I didn't get spashed as I imagined I would.
The first one is great but I went against the advice of the compnay and bought the darkest shield. I can't use that at night. The second one, I bought one of their damaged ones for $50. I don't know why they consider it damaged because there wasn't a scratch on it.
Anyway, Im loyal to LRS and will never use another brand.
