very nice pics man and beautiful country up there. Unfortunately all we have had is non stop rain, think about 12+ inches of rain since last week and flooding down here so no major rides for me anytime soon. Supposed to dry out a little starting Monday.. so maybe next weekend the wife and I can get out and hit some scenic areas here in the flatlands of FL.
I'm lucky, as I'm only a 45 min ride from Vermont. Did the same as you last week. The drivers in VT are also pretty courteous to riders....as compared to Albany NY anyways.
I'll plan a couple more rides...before I switch over to the snow rockets.
Took advantage of the amazing weekend we had here in the Northeast also. A couple of friends and myself rode from the Augusta,Me area and took the Auto Road up Mt.Washington. Simply beautiful up there this weekend. I had been up on motorcycle a lot of years ago but it was on my "to-do" list. The two guys I rode up with had never been up there before so it was cool to see their faces after the ride up and while they were up there walking around.
it was about a 180 mile round trip and the temps were perfect. Not very often you can ride at 5 o'clock at night on September 28th in New England in a t-shirt.
Very nice. Have always wanted to visit the n east. The foliage change is one thing I miss being a damn Yankee in alabama. We are hitting the natchez trace in a couple weeks so hopefully will see some.
