I was thinking about putting some Mutazu lowers on my 2015 Road Glide Special. This is my first Road Glide so I don't know if there is anything I should watch as far as fitment? Do the fairing mounts @ the crash bar come into play?

the only thing you have to worry about is if you use the 'older' lowers that have a long extension on the tube cap. on those, you have to use a hacksaw and cut them off. otherwise, no worries.
I have factory lowers on my 2015 FLTRXS. They fit fine, but you have to make sure that they are aligned properly. I really like the way that they look, and they do a nice job with the wind management. Mostly I wanted them as a place to mount more speakers...
I looked up the Mutazu Lowers that you mentioned. Those are of the "older" design vs the newer 2014 and up design. I cannot comment on how they would fit or if there was some change to the engine guard that would prevent the installation. The newer style I don't think have the same air flow as the older design, but I like how they operate and look.
