I have an 06 Ultra Classic that I just installed a set of Big Radius pipes on. That is my only mod so far, but an air cleaner and fuel management are next. I am looking at the Power Commander V, and have a couple of questions for for the guys in the know.
When I search maps on the Power Commander web site there are no maps for the Big Radius pipes. What are some other pipes that are close enough that the maps would match up? Are the BR pipes, 2 into 2 or True Duals?
Also, every map listed the SE air cleaner. Is this the only good part to put on, or are they all so close to the same that it is the only option used for a high flow air cleaner.
I am sure I will have follow up questions but this will get me started. Thanks for the help.
I would say map 072 would be close, but just give dynojet a call, very helpful. i think the intakes are close and people buy pertinent to price and looks.
You can use fuel moto for your PCV purchase and they will preload the map you need and provide all the tech assist you need as long as you own it, great people to deal with and one of the forum sponsors.
buy it from fuel moto, tell them what you have theyll program it for you.
And if you find that the program is a little off, or if you make further performance changes, they will send you a new program for life. This on top of the fact that their prices are better than most.
You can also email power commander. I have cycle shack pipes and they don't list them. I clicked "contact us" from the web page asked. I got a reply from them pretty quick with a recommendation.
