Honest question, but how did you search for that? Just cruise cycle trader and Craigslist for 5 years? Never seen that paint set before. Pretty cool you ended up with what you wanted!
I have been in many dealers from coast to coast looking for this paint set. I called many and left my name at other dealers. in the end it was a car dealer that posted it for sale on FB to a street glide members group. The hunt was a lot of fun... and many dealers have never seen or heard of this paint set...I'm looking forward to getting in the garage in a few weeks... Its shipping out after the first of the year.
Really cool story! Post up some more pics once its sitting in your garage please!!

Wow, that's quite a hunt. You got me beat. I started saving up for my bike for a couple of years then spent only 6 months looking for the one I wanted.
I've still got it, 11 years later. It's not going anywhere except for a ride.

As requested here are some pictures of the bike in my garage. Added a battery tender, cleaned it up and matched the pipe length. Plan to get some time riding with my son. He will be riding this when we go out for rides.

Wow, he's got one hell of a ride for the trips! Congrats again.
