I'm looking to put apes on my 13 street glide. I was looking for size opinions based on comfort. Also brands and best prices for a good set. All in put is appreciated. Really looking for street glide familiar opinions though.
Well Jeff, how ya doin. asking others for opinions based on their comfort will only get you what makes them happy, do you really care what makes others happy? How about for starters, you check out the wild one chubby web site, there you will find pics of lots of street glides with the different size bars. Otherwise you can wait for replies to end up with a different answer from everybody that replies. Welcome to the Forum.
Thanks for the recommendation of the website. Also congratulations on be so good at pointing out the obvious. I'm really looking for street glide riders opinions, hoping their hindsight in experience could aid me.
14" allows full use of the fairing mirrors, and feels great even though I am 5'6. Hill Country Custom has the best price, large selection and come as a kit with everything you need. You can even get fully assembled bars and controls for a plug and go.

Six guns was relaying the same answer you'll see in countless posts: it is a matter of personal preference, and the answers you get will be others' favorites and not necessarily what's right for you. Unless you're doing the work yourself, it's an expensive proposition getting new bars installed on an SG, so it pays to work with someone who can fit you properly if possible.
