I have the made in USA Double-H harness boot and they have the Sierra 150 Orange Plaug outsole. Very comfortable and the soles have a great grip on pavement.
These are comfortable and when treated with Sno-Seal are very water resistant
I had heard that Double H used to make boots for Harley prior to Harley outsourcing to China.
I've got several pair of Red Wing shoes and boots, all US made, as well as a couple pair of Chippewa engineer boots. If I had to choose between the brands, I'd go with Red Wing. When I'm home, I always give my shoes and boots at least 2-3 days rest between wearing, and they last for years.
Cavenders has a great selection and great prices. I wear Justin's and have a pair of Road wolf boots that are 7 years old. Great boots but they are out of business
